This is another band I discovered and which are not yet in their infancy, since it is already their fifth album .
Shearwater Rook sign here, album of varied musical styles ranging from pop, folk, ambient music through time by the rock. Many instruments are used as the harpsichord, clarinet, piano, giving a mixture very pleasant, that you appreciate more and more Listen Again to the album. The voice of the singer (Jonathan Meiburg ) is sometimes thought to that of Thom Yorke (Leader Radiohead ).
By discovering these groups that are unknown to me, I realize that I missed a lot of things, and I'm far off the mark musically.
But then the question is how to discover new groups or singers if such sites do not exist ( Deezer, Jiwa , Explorasound , and certainly I forget)?
- Buy magazines.
- Make more festivals.
- maybe listen to other radio a little less formatted.
- Seek advice at record store (It still exists?).
- Go on specialized sites.
- Here I have more ideas, help me.
Well, I think I'm going to start, even if I listen to music as always a bit more commercial.
