Why Are Brits Wearing Red Flower

The Rakes - Klang

Klang, despite an ugly cover (it's fashionable at the moment) the album is the first really successful album The Rakes. The lack of inspiration of the second album are gone and forgotten, the inconsistencies of the first well. Berlin seems to have given wings to the group chained 10 songs very consistent, excavated rock and very exciting.

While we criticize the album does not have a single obvious to the 'Open Book', but damn, it's so good to hear the inspiration and good at that!
We spend a great time, the stunning 'You're In It' edgy song, its unstoppable rhythm and superb line end "I'm no superman and i need Someone to remind me That Thing" could go wrong ... " the very direct 'The Final Hill', via the excellent 'Shackleton' and the entrancing 'The Light from your Mac, emerging from (very) slightly from a CD or any song honorably defending his place.

10 songs is a bit short, true, and 'Open Book' haunts us by the absence of offspring, but the album is really great néamoins, tinged with a unique atmosphere.
was often compared these guys from London to Franz Ferdinand, in view of the latest albums from both teams, they have nothing to envy the Glasgow Boys, on the contrary.

'You're here to Have A Good Time'
Certainly, 2009 appears to be a good vintage music.

The Rakes - Klang 6.5/10
