How To Convert W/v To W/w

Pete Doherty at The Picture House - Edinburgh

battery time is coming to see the first part, namely Dot Allison singing 5-6 songs very sweet, pretty, but a little flat. You let yourself slowly captivated by her voice, unlike some present Scottish (And obviously drunk) that swing Alegre beer, singing songs from the who ho ho "I Wish Babyshambles.

Then Dot Allison thanked the public and goes obviously upset to have been tainted by a public little respect it must be said.

Everyone begins to wriggle impatiently Who ho ho and run in a loop, alternating with "pete pete pete pete. Surprisingly the public is very masculine, unlike France and most of the English dandy groupies are girls.

21h. The character arrives, dressed like a Sunday, no suit jacket or tie, just a sweat shirt and a smile to any face.
The vamp can begin, and beauty, please: Music When The Light Goes Out, guitar song, nothing else. Pete, only to face an audience delirious chants of complete words he knows by heart and he did not rechanter power with time.
It is transported ...

(And beer covered it must be said, the Scottish swinging their beer cup full of the highest possible ... It's raining Foster on the public, and the musicians.)

Then the setlist unfolds composed mostly of songs from the album solo, without much thrills, we have a good time but it lacks some thing. The songs sound more intimate, no change from the album version, all the effects and orchestrations are there. But they definitely do not have the same effect as those of Babyshambles.

After 4 songs, musicians (graham coxon, 2 BabyShambles, 2 violins, a cello and a keyboard) go away, and Pete gives us a wonderful Do not Look Back Into The Sun. Unbelievable. Many thought never to see or revisit this song live. Si And that was something, especially when the poet engages in a You Can not Stand Me Now.

Pete Doherty is in full possession of his means, not even alcohol, her voice sounds worked, concentrated, even if he plays with the public, even slammer for a few seconds. Everything is very professional, as if Doherty had grown up and assumed an iconic status adoubée Rock, forgiven by the media and critics (who have praised her album).

After this little interlude Libertinesque Pete completes her audience with Killamangiro, we conquered, before being joined again by the rest of the musicians.

The course of his solo album back in quick and it's always very nice but the fervor is not the same. 3 jewels are still to come, a superb For Lovers, a classic Albion, and in return only song, Time For Heroes, which unleashes les foules.

A Labelled Diagram Of A Shark

Noah And The Whale – Manchester Academy 2 Par Tidusyl

Il était une fois un groupe qui vivait au Royaume du Rock. Ce group's unique identity was actually, on purpose, excluded from the community of the Kingdom as he had decided to folk. NATW was the villain of this tale.

Proud of its status and overplanting all other groups have chosen this combination of poetry, NATW opted therefore for a very special way to listen to the people of the United ballads.

So the trailer full of bad movies from Tarantino to the completely absurd that our modern-day troubadours move, using them as a first party. But in a good villain, he happens to sing their prisoner interlude Session Film ...

But the villain is never far away and decides to make its appearance by creating unease: first 2 unknown songs and a version of Jocasta too short ...

Paradoxically, gives us a villain to many folk theatrics and like an electrical ... Dylan and the people love it and can therefore be cheering the hermit kingdom, to sing along and enjoy this moment that belongs to them!

was nice being in a fairy tale and while NATW could even go for the kind of history, the absence the ukulele of 5 Years Time and forgetfulness (I hope) Shape On My Heart shows us just that the group wants to do what he likes and actually good because the fun is still there.

As in any story, it has our Happy Ending except that NATW is bad, because the party folk people of the Kingdom is aware that lurked after which the preview tonight suggests a new chapter appears that 'even more crispy ...

the wise ... hello!

Why Are Brits Wearing Red Flower

The Rakes - Klang

Klang, despite an ugly cover (it's fashionable at the moment) the album is the first really successful album The Rakes. The lack of inspiration of the second album are gone and forgotten, the inconsistencies of the first well. Berlin seems to have given wings to the group chained 10 songs very consistent, excavated rock and very exciting.

While we criticize the album does not have a single obvious to the 'Open Book', but damn, it's so good to hear the inspiration and good at that!
We spend a great time, the stunning 'You're In It' edgy song, its unstoppable rhythm and superb line end "I'm no superman and i need Someone to remind me That Thing" could go wrong ... " the very direct 'The Final Hill', via the excellent 'Shackleton' and the entrancing 'The Light from your Mac, emerging from (very) slightly from a CD or any song honorably defending his place.

10 songs is a bit short, true, and 'Open Book' haunts us by the absence of offspring, but the album is really great néamoins, tinged with a unique atmosphere.
was often compared these guys from London to Franz Ferdinand, in view of the latest albums from both teams, they have nothing to envy the Glasgow Boys, on the contrary.

'You're here to Have A Good Time'
Certainly, 2009 appears to be a good vintage music.

Clear Bumps On Pelvis

Pete Doherty - Grace/Wastelands

We've been waiting (very) long time, the rocker's solo album the most controversial of the 2000s, the here, and I will not deny that it is very good.

I loved Down In Albion, completely transported by this atmosphere and these melodies that are clean, Shotter's Nation by cons bitterly disappointed me, resonating like a huge mess (songs more than great, but smoothed to the extreme as if to force them into the mold of current music production) and including among others, because of "The Lost Art Of Murder" one of his best songs slowed down and missed on the album.

The single before the album did not convince 'The Last Of The Pink Français' with a refrain all too pale to be Doherty, and yet ... we wondered if he had lost the inspiration. We already knew
'Arcadia', 'A Little Death Around the Eyes' and 'New Love Grows On Trees' best songs, without more, the album version does not add much, if not recording quality.

Note that in all arrangements are biased to Doherty, guitar and vocals, does not enhance the songs that accompany the man "back from the dead."

And I was swept away. The album has an amazing consistency, yet the songs are not alike, and are all beautifully successful from my favorites especially 'I'm The Rain', 'Broken Love Song' and 'Sheepskin Tearaway'.
No tube, no easy melody, and so much better. We end up with 7 great songs and a really successful album. The meager criticisms could be made of this album are the low number of new titles and the cover (for once failed).
course, the feel of a musician and his troubles with the media and Kate 'Down In Albion we lack a little, we will miss her always.

It is here replaced by a totally different atmosphere. Indeed, hangs over the album a good dose of redemption for the talented musician, notorious drug addict, still better known to many for this second activity. May finally be going t be talking about music Doherty.
But does it really matter? Those who listened to know what is his music. Hat the artist.

Cheers mister

Chest Waxing For Men In Bangalore

Mando Diao - Give Me Fire

Freshly imported from Sweden, the new album (and already the 5th) delivered by our four guys from Borlange, landed it in my ears A little over two weeks. I really took the time to listen several times in a loop I must confess, before I can write this review.

To summarize the history of the band's debut album is very raw, very rock, garage very interesting, but not this brilliant, differences in levels between songs disappoint a bit. The second Opus more resolutely pop was very successful but we lacked the guitars. The 4th album "Ode To Orchrasy" I think is the most successful to date, mixing perfect pop and rock to a disk that is one of my favorite albums. The last looked like a collection of b-sides from the previous, the same but less inspired, less successful and less addictive.

They were expected at the turn, here is 'Give Me Fire', preceded by a single, perfect for dancefloors 'Dance With Somebody'. The album takes its time to engage but hangs from the first listen, thanks to the songs the most successful album, which will jump to ears
'Gloria' and tone both sad and full of energy, and his magnificently successful passage ballad.
'Mean Street' song that sounds like a forgotten Beatles' back into fashion of the day, and you plate a smile on his lips every time.
'Go Out Tonight' Finally, a superb rhythm, crescendo-song damn well, we conquered.

4 very good songs, the rest of the album is also good, a level below, not as failure, some choruses winded ( 'Give Me Fire' , 'The Shining' ). A ballad

bewitching 'Crystal' , and an album that we never get tired easily. Of course, this is not 'Ode To Orchrasy' but it's already working, thorough and refreshing as 'Never Seen The Light Of Day'. Keep it up, you're on the right track.

Mando Diao - Give Me Fire 7 / 10

Ps: God, she is ugly this package.
