Factors of a successful participatory communication

In prédécent a ticket, I indicated how participatory communication in the context of Open Government promotes the empowerment . Let's review what are the success factors.

For a successful participatory communication, certain conditions must be met. For a permanent presence of the participating partners, leaders (or managers) community have a role to play in the participatory approach to communication. These leaders serve as relay for field coordination. Their motivation and ownership of the process therefore prove important elements for achieving the desired results.

Good adhesion process is achieved by adopting an iterative approach that includes regular monitoring, which should be opportunities for dialogue, clarification, training, funding and information, etc..

Good understanding of the concept of participatory communication by all players helps to avoid frustration and even resistance or resistance that could cause a slowdown in the execution of activities.

When all parties involved agree an action from the start on a possible solution and the modalities of its implementation, there is no reason to fail.

Upgrading stakeholders can come about through an introduction of key stakeholders and partners to the concept of participatory communication through workshops and exchanges, consultation meetings, monitoring and field support. A

Adopting an iterative path in a process of evaluation, as well as the establishment of a monitoring and support, enabling players to make necessary adjustments during the advancement and well to make a quantum leap in achieving the project objectives.

The establishment of a management committee including members of the community and facilitated by these may become an element of good governance that facilitates the understanding within the project and enhances mutual trust, but also ensures transparency in the process, guaranteeing the sustainability of the commitment and the full mobilization of community members.
