Where To Find Camwhores

Free access to Canadian government data ... by officials ... and not by the makers

Patrick Woodbury, LeDroit
We have seen recently, when a mass of people has had enough of a situation, these people are united by ties of social media, take action and change the course things. Within weeks, the Tunisians have removed a dictator. And other people have done the same.

In Canada, we will fine whine, however, we are privileged. We live in an industrialized society, one of the G20 countries . The odds are low that we are witnessing events in Canada such as those held in North Africa and elsewhere.

Premier Jean Charest the province of Quebec, has also declared proudly February 23, 2011 at the inauguration speech the second session of the 39th Legislature " In our discussions, we often throw ourselves on a stern look . However, in the addition of pluses and minuses, there is no doubt that Quebec is one of what humanity has to offer. "

However, even in Canada, there has been some strange events of empowerment of individuals.

But in our case, these are not people who put themselves at work.

They are civil servants! They

got tired of waiting for the decision makers who masturbate in the handle, and slow to put policies in place for Open Government.

Stephanie Levitz Canadian Press reported Jan. 29 that last officials want to give access to government databases :
"Officials are developing a policy to facilitate public access to government databases Even if politicians are dragging their feet on this issue.

Unlike the United States and Great Britain, there is no formal federal policy in Canada in regard to access citizens to government data, financed with public funds.

officials felt it was time to change this situation. "
Truly remarkable!

These officials have developed a strategy to provide open access to government data.

I retain this outstanding example of organizational empowerment , a self-taught as a kind, which occurred despite the poor performance of leaders.

makers federal government: hello, is there someone who observes what is happening? You should read my first lesson Leadership: Learn to observe and listen carefully . When you decide to act as leaders? When you adopt and implement the change you open governance in Canada?
